This is a new and exciting arm to Plumbing Works – it’s called OSET Design Works. OSET Design is the name given by the BOP Regional Council for the design, implementation and servicing of waste water treatment plants. This OSET design is specialised and Plumbing Works have their own in-house OSET designer, Stephan van der Merwe.
Put simply, an OSET treatment plant greatly improves the quality of the effluent, and the treated grey water is then discharged into the ground. The BOP Regional Council approve the design and then the efficacy is monitored by them.

Service Details
Generally there are two ways of dealing with rural sewage.
These two systems are both acceptable solutions based on location and also council requirements. In the Bay of Plenty an OSET (On Site Effluent Treatment) design will determine what type of treatment plant is required, what type of disposal is required (drip irrigation or LDS) and where this can be located.

Once the the system is in, we also have trained technicians to maintain the units. We can also assess and replace any component of the system. You may have drip irrigation lines that have failed or a broken pump, we can take care of the lot. We also maintain any system you already have installed.
